BUETAA's establishment
After more than one year of preparatory work in
which a group of BUET alumni representing the
university and leaders in the academe, government,
development and business fields participated
enthusiastically, the BUET Alumni Association (BUETAA)
was established in August 2003 as an independent,
non-profit and non-political organization. BUETAA is
governed by the alumni of BUET and its predecessor
institutions independently of the university but
working very closely and in partnership with BUET.
The Association was formally registered in November
2006 with the Government of Bangladesh under their
Companies Act, 1994.
The Memorandum and the Articles of Association of
BUETAA will be available for distribution to
interested alumni through the website of the
Association. |
